Welcome to the SCAMC
We are dedicated to the Alaskan Malamute through education, showing and working.
We have a wide variety of members, including seasoned veterans and those new to the breed whose enthusiasm for the Malamute covers a broad spectrum. From conformation to weight-pulling to therapy, obedience, backpacking and agility. Our dogs range from multi-titled champions to family pets. Some are from champion lines, some are rescues and some fall somewhere in-between. Regardless of origin, all hold a special place in our lives.
Our club hosts an independent specialty show, weight-pulling events at various times throughout the year, an annual awards banquet, Christmas party, along with other working and fun events for members and their malamutes including puppy socialization.
Our meetings are usually held the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. On occasion, club meetings may be held in conjunction with a planned event or show. Please check our calendar for more information.
We hope you enjoy your visit to our website – you are welcome to contact a board member, read the newsletter, or visit the calendar to see what’s coming up.
If you have a malamute, or are just thinking about it, please join us at one of our meetings or events. We are always happy to talk “malamute”.
